We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data and Reporting to lead the data management and reporting elements of our strategic program.
This role requires a strong project manager with expertise in data migration processes, who can lead a team, ensure alignment with program objectives, and be an integral part of the program leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership :
Collaborate closely with the program leadership team to align data and reporting activities with overall program objectives.
Contribute to strategic decision-making processes and provide insights based on data analysis.
Project Management :
Oversee the planning, execution,
and monitoring of data and reporting projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
Data Migration and Management :
Lead the data migration process, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.Develop and implement data management strategies and frameworks to optimize data quality and accessibility.
Reporting and Analytics :
Design and implement reporting solutions that provide actionable insights to stakeholders and support informed decision-making.
Ensure the accuracy and relevance of data reported, working closely with data analysts and engineers.
Team Leadership and Development :
Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular team meetings, provide feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
Stakeholder Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their data needs and expectations.Facilitate effective communication between the data team and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing data migration processes and leading data-related projects.
- Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong communication, leadership,
and interpersonal skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Public Sector experience highly desirable.
