Are you a passionate and innovative Computer Science teacher looking to inspire the next generation of tech-savvy students?
We are seeking a dedicated educator to join our dynamic and supportive team at a vibrant and diverse mixed school with a Good Ofsted rating.
About the Role :
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and possibly KS5.
The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge and the ability to create a stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity and encourages students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Computer Science lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Develop students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and coding skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Computer Science and integrate them into your teaching.
- Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, helping to cultivate a love for technology and innovation among students.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have :
- A relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching Computer Science at secondary level.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for inspiring students and a positive attitude towards education.
