Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective French lessons to students in line with the curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that facilitates the growth and development of every student
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues in the development of curriculum materials and resources
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required
- Establish and maintain strong communication channels with students, parents, and colleagues
- Promote and uphold the school's values and ethos, fostering a respectful and supportive atmosphere
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching French in a primary or secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the French language and culture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Familiarity with the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices
