Job description
A 'Good' Ofsted-rated Academy in Havering is looking for a dedicated and passionate KS2 SEN Teacher X2 to join their vibrant Academy for a supply position, starting immediately.
Working with Step Teachers, this presents an exciting opportunity for a KS2 SEN Teacher X2 who is keen to be part of a team that prioritizes holistic development and the nurturing of life and social skills, aiming to bring out the best in all students and provide them with opportunities to thrive.
KS2 SEN Teacher - Role :
- KS2 SEN Teacher must possess strong knowledge of the curriculum.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
- Maintain a well-organized, tidy, and considerate classroom environment.
- Cultivate positive relationships with students, inspiring good behaviour, and a passion for learning.
- Cooperate with and support colleagues and additional classroom staff.
- Accurately assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Comply with and implement the school's policies and take part in their supportive educational ethos.
KS2 SEN Teacher - Requirements :
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
- Recent mainstream school-based experience as an KS2 SEN Teacher.
- A relevant degree is desirable.
- Experience with KS2 curriculum.
- SEN experience is essential.
