Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons to students
- Implement effective assessment strategies to track student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum plans
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and achievements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Prior experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge in Science and an understanding of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest educational practices
