Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to be the primary point of contact for our customers, with a specific focus on targeting local councils to offer authority support services.

This role provides a unique opportunity to drive sales growth by delivering tailored solutions that address community needs such as littering, waste management, and public safety.

Position : Head of Sales Kingdom Local Authority Support.

Where :





Hybrid role with access to all our UK based Kingdom offices.

Hours : 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09 : 00am 17 : 00pm or to meet the demands and objectives of the primary role.

Salary : £60,000.00 Per Annum + Excellent Commission Scheme.

Responsibilities :

Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added :

- To work collaboratively with the Managing Director, Solutions Director & Operations Director to find new opportunities within our current and prospect customer base.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting local authorities and public sector clients.
- Identify market opportunities and develop business plans to achieve sales targets.
- Establish strong relationships with decision-makers and procurement professionals within local authorities.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, develop tailored solutions,





and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, with a focus on increasing revenue from local authority contracts.
- Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) to track progress against objectives and adjust strategies as needed.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of bids and tenders, ensuring compliance with local authority procurement rules.
- Lead the negotiation of contracts and agreements to maximize value while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and report regularly to senior leadership on performance, market conditions, and potential risks.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the sales function.

What we are looking for :

Experience & Skills :







- Proven sales experience with a minimum of 2 years in solution sales, ideally within local government sectors.
- A strong understanding of services related to local authority support, particularly in environmental and enforcement areas.
- Experience in working directly with local councils or public sector organizations is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will be :

- A brand ambassador with a track record of securing new council contracts.
- Focused on sales, solutions, and innovation, with a drive to exceed targets.
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Detail-oriented, confident, tenacious, and organized.
- An effective communicator,





able to present at various levels and lead pitches to local government officials.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experienced with CRM systems (HubSpot knowledge is a plus).
- Social media savvy and driven to advance strategic sales initiatives within local councils.
- Physically and medically fit for the role.
