We invite applications to join our team of rotational pharmacists in providing front-line medicines management to UCL Hospitals.
You will benefit from our continually evolving foundation programme which will provide first class training and development.
Our accreditation as a site for delivery of the Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice, through the Joint Programme Board higher education institutes, offers you the opportunity to work within a structured programme of development with progression towards formal postgraduate qualifications.
You will achieve this by way of rotations through all the core disciplines of hospital pharmacy practice, including medicines information and patient,
clinical and technical services, and work closely with your peers in other centres across London.
You will work in, and contribute to, multidisciplinary patient care at all levels across the large range of clinical specialties that UCLH has to offer, and will participate in audit and project work, developing key skills as you progress.
Delivery of a demanding on-call service will also enhance your prioritisation, decision making, and opinion forming skills.
This vacancy has been advertised in accordance with the new NHS pay rate which will take effect from autumn 2024. Please note if your employment starts before the 24 / 25 pay scales are implemented you will be paid under the 23 / 24 pay scales and any backpay will be adjusted accordingly.

Main duties of the job
You will have the opportunity to gain clinical experience in General Medicine and Surgery, Women’s Health, Gastroenterology, as well as specialist rotations in Urology and Thoracic Medicine,
Critical Care, Paediatrics and HIV and Infection.
You will gain operational and technical skills during Patient and Technical Services rotations.
You will participate in the frontline on-call rota delivering a high quality pharmacy service out of hours.
For this role you will therefore need :
