Our well-regarded secondary school in Ealing seeks a qualified and passionate Design Technology Teacher to join our dynamic department.

About the Role :
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will :
- Deliver engaging and stimulating Design Technology lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8)
and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11).
- Foster a love of design and problem-solving in students, encouraging creativity and experimentation.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their design and practical skills effectively (planning, construction, using a variety of materials and tools).
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision, national requirements, and the latest advancements in design education.
- Create a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment in the workshop.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Qualified Design Technology teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students and developing their design and practical skills.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of design and problem-solving in students of all abilities.
- Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment in the workshop.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- A willingness to be part of a dynamic department and contribute to its ongoing development.
