Science Teacher
Stockport
Start Date : October 2024
£600-1200 per week (PAYE - No Umbrella Company)
New Directions Education are working with an outstanding Secondary School based in Manchester who are looking for a progressive and supportive Science teacher to join their team.
This will be a long term role starting after the October half term. The school are looking to recruit for the role so we expect the role to go permanent for the right candidate.
We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic Science teacher who can deliver inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed and induction support will be available.
As a Science Teacher you'll be expected to :
- Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
- Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
- Maintain discipline.
- Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
- Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
- Have a passion for teaching secondary Science
- To deliver Science lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 - 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.
