Job description

You will playa pivotal role in leading and delivering highquality ecologicalassessments surveys and mitigation strategies collaborating withour talented team of ecologists landscape architects andenvironmental planners.
Your responsibilities willinclude :
- At least a degree in EcologyEnvironmental Science or a related field.
- Forthe Senior Ecologist role a proven track record in managing anddelivering ecological projects and meeting deadlines including formedium to large scale and more complex sites.
- For the Ecologist role at least 3 yearsexperience in ecological consultancy with a strong focus onconducting surveys assessments preparing a range of ecologicalreports and the project management of smaller jobs.
- Sound knowledge of UK ecology legislationguidelines and best practice.
- Strongcommunication skills with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith diverse stakeholders.
- Experienced inadvising clients on Biodiversity Net Gain understanding and use ofthe DEFRA Statutory Biodiversity Metric and production ofassociated reports and plans.
- You may have aparticular ecological specialism or hold protected specieslicence / s.
- Membership or eligibility formembership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CIEEM).
- A full UK driving licence and access tovehicle.
