Job Title : Speech and Language Therapist (Paediatric)
Location : Chelsea and Westminster Hospital SW10 9NH or West Middlesex Hospital, TW7 6AF
Band : Band 7 / 8a
Contract Type : Locum
Salary : £25 - £35 per hour
About you :
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist specialising in Paediatrics looking for a locum role?
We are looking for skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapists (SALT) to support our client to deliver excellent care and support to children and families using their services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work as part of a dedicated team to deliver Speech and Language Therapy services to paediatric patients.
- Assess and manage communication difficulties in children across various settings.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Essential Qualifications :
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist with :
- BSc or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience.
- 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Experience in acute paediatrics, including paediatric dysphagia in acute wards.
Desirable Skills :
- Neonatal dysphagia assessment and management.
- VF assessment and interpretation.
