The difference you will make as a Systems and Performance Manager
Business Support & Strategy is the internal team to support the directly employed property services teams carrying out repairs and maintenance.
Riverside Property Services maintains over 25,000 properties across London, the Southeast and Home Counties. The directly employed teams carry out repairs and maintenance and this role is pivotal in managing the supporting operational workflow management systems.
This is a unique role that has different responsibilities across various work streams and is part of one of the pivotal teams in the Systems and Business Support Department.
This post is to ensure the provision of effective administration, support and management of the operating workflow systems, reporting to the Head of Performance and Planning.
The Systems & Performance Manager will be able to make decisions around day-to-day activities and will have responsibility over the systems configurations, and the management and resolution of any issues.

Councillors, consultants, employees, colleagues, and trade union representatives.

Role Profile
- Fulfilling System Requests or Issues for workflow management system (currently Oneserve and DRS).
- Supporting the team by assisting with colleague’s tasks and / or providing improvement feedback for any outputs.
- Providing support for System Projects, either through configuration changes or providing high-level analyses of existing configurations.
- Understanding and addressing relevant actions or trends derived from Business Reports, including internal KPIs and Supplier SLAs.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
- Scope and deliver internal training as required, either within a train the trainer exercise or directly.
- Support system upgrades through preparation and testing.
- Support with the coordination of UAT by preparing and testing any Changes to satisfy LIVE Requests, Changes or Upgrades.
- Adhere to and support the Change Control Processes.
- Assist in documenting RPS systems.
- Maintain user guides for RPS Systems.
- Supporting colleagues in performing data audits to ensure Systems and Processes are working as expected.
- Review existing working practices and implement processes to achieve effective cost management.
- Effective line management of team to deliver functions of the business which will include having a motivated and engaged team, providing leadership to the team through effective coaching, 121s, team meetings and other management methods.
- Be responsible for contract documentation and provide advice and support to the department on disputes etc.
- Identify areas where training is required and assist in delivering where appropriate.
- Maintain effective and timely communication with stakeholders in order to promote excellent and professional working relationship with all stakeholders
- Provide innovative solutions to problems, create innovations to drive efficiency and customer / supplier satisfaction results.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
- Systems & Performance Management (Degree or equivalent).
- Business management.
- Housing Association and workflow management system experience.
- Knowledge of computerised maintenance systems and best practice. (experience of Oneserve or contractor systems in particular is desirable).
- Maintain a friendly approach with the ability to influence and persuade others.
Desirable :
- Repairs and Commercial Awareness.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- An analytical approach to work.
- High numeracy and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships.
