Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Lawyer with a strong background inpublic sector housinglitigation. The role involves managing cases to Lexcel standards, providing advocacy in County Court, and handling debt recovery and insolvency procedures. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and representation on public sector housing litigation matters.
- Manage debt recovery and insolvency procedures effectively.
- Advocate in the County Court for relevant cases.
- Maintain efficient case management according to Lexcel standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members on various legal issues.
- Undertake research into different areas of law when necessary.
- Travel to attend court and tribunals as required.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in public sector housing litigation.
- Expertise in debt recovery and insolvency procedures.
- Experience in advocacy within the County Court.
- Strong case management skills to meet Lexcel standards.
- Willingness to undertake technical training.
- Legal research experience (desirable).
