An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Science team for a part time Lecturer. This role is perfectly suited for an enthusiastic and flexible person.
We are looking for a passionate person to join our forward-thinking team, teaching on our BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 Applied Science and BTEC Level 3 Forensic and Criminal Investigation with Applied Psychology.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic, strong team within a larger high functioning department. There are a range of modules available to teach across science on exam-based and coursework units, we specifically want to hear from you if you have a physics and chemistry background.
You will have the ability to promote,
support and embed English and Maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching. You should also be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessment of student work with experience of personal tutoring including target setting.
Teaching experience and/or a science background would be desirable although we are keen to hear from anyone with the right skills.
You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be encouraged to upskill.
