About the role







The Training and Clinical Support Team is a team of 4 that provides a comprehensive library and knowledge services to staff and students of the UCL School of Life and Medical Sciences on the Bloomsbury campus and to healthcare staff, learners, and researchers of the University College Hospitals, and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trusts.

The post holder’s main focus is developing and delivering training on information skills and resources to library users. They will work closely with colleagues to progress the service, expanding expertise and the use of new technologies and resources.

This is an on-campus role. It is not suitable for regular remote working.

About you

We are seeking someone who is excited about the opportunity to try new ideas and contribute to the development of an excellent training and support program for all library users.

You will have up to date and significant experience of working in a health or medical library, and experience of providing training in the use of healthcare knowledge resources (including designing and delivering training courses). The ability to form effective working relationships as part of a team, be a clear communicator, and be able to manage a varied workload to agreed deadlines is essential.
