Essential Criteria

English / Maths GCSE or equivalent training / qualifications

The Hyde School is a two form entry primary school. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, Level 2 Teaching Assistant who wants to join our great team and who shares our determination to enable every child to succeed.

Job Purpose :

To work with the staffing team to ensure the security, safety, care and well being of students and to

promote their social, emotional and physical development during the lunch time period.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

To supervise children whilst eating their lunch, to assist staff in clearing away and tidying the

tables.

To supervise the children either inside or outside,





being especially vigilant as to the health and

safety and welfare of the children.

To play with and engage the children during their lunch time.

To carry out first aid duties, after completing the appropriate training, and maintain accurate

records of any accidents / injuries.
