About the Role :
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Girls’ PE program, aligning with the school’s overall vision and educational goals.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging PE curriculum that fosters a love of sport and physical activity in all girls.
- Oversee the work of PE teachers within the Girls’ program, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents, promoting a positive and inclusive environment within the Girls’ PE program.
- Champion equal opportunities for all girls to participate and excel in PE and sports.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Physical Education or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for physical activity and sport, with a proven track record of success in leading and developing PE programs for girls.
- Excels in leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and collaboration.
- Has a deep understanding of the National Curriculum for PE and the ability to create innovative and engaging learning experiences.
- A commitment to promoting equality, inclusivity,
and the importance of physical and mental well-being within the Girls’ PE program.
