Art Teacher Secondary School in Southampton
Location : Southampton
Salary : £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract Type : Full-time, Permanent
Start Date : January 2024 (or earlier)
A creative and dynamic secondary school in Southampton is seeking a passionate Art Teacher to join their Art department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who thrives on encouraging artistic expression and creativity in students.
The Role
As an Art Teacher, you will :
- Teach Art across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5.
- Inspire students to explore various art mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Help students build portfolios for GCSE and A-Level art assessments.
- Play a role in extra-curricular activities, exhibitions, and school art projects.

Requirements
- A UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Art at secondary level.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
