About the Role :
As an Entry Level Marketing Assistant , you will work closely with our marketing team to support event-based campaigns across Manchester and beyond.
This role is heavily focused on face-to-face sales and promotions , providing a fantastic opportunity to learn the art of customer engagement and sales conversion while supporting non-profits in their fundraising and awareness efforts.
You will be part of a dynamic team tasked with setting up, managing, and executing marketing events at various locations, including shopping centers, community events, and exhibitions.
You’ll actively participate in promoting non-profit organizations, building customer relationships,
and securing ongoing support through direct, face-to-face interactions.
Responsibilities :
- Event Marketing Support : Assist in setting up, managing, and executing promotional events, ensuring smooth operations and an engaging customer experience.
- Sales & Promotions : Actively engage with members of the public to promote our non-profit partners, using effective communication and sales techniques to drive support.
- Data Tracking & Reporting : Monitor event performance and collect relevant data to report on campaign outcomes, helping the team make data-driven decisions.
- Marketing Material Coordination : Help design and distribute promotional materials, ensuring they are used effectively at events to maximize impact.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with your team to achieve campaign objectives, hitting sales targets, and providing feedback for continual improvement.
- Public Relations : Build and maintain positive relationships with the public,
acting as a brand ambassador and ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting impression.
- Customer Support : Provide information and assistance to potential supporters, answering any queries and ensuring a high standard of service throughout the event.
Requirements :
- Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK. We cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas.
- Must not have applied for any openings within the past 30 days.
- Strong interest in marketing and sales; previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be able to work full-time, with flexibility for evening and weekend events.
- Comfortable working in face-to-face environments, as the role involves active public engagement and sales activities. (Please note : This is not a digital marketing position.)
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and confident approach to interacting with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
