Design Technology Teacher

Start Date : September

Area : Sheffield

Duration : Part time until at least Exams

Pay : £115 -£215 per day

As a Design Technology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage students in hands-on learning experiences that span a wide range of disciplines, including product design, textiles, graphics, and more.

You will inspire students to think critically, innovate, and develop practical skills that are applicable both inside and outside the classroom.

At now, GSL Education is in search of a Design Technology Teacher to fill a post at one of our client schools in Sheffield.

Role of a Design Technology Teacher :







- Plan and deliver engaging D&T; lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore and experiment.
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking through practical projects and activities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities.

The successful candidate will :

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in Design & Technology and Resistant Materials related field.
- Passion for education and a commitment to promoting the importance of D&T; in the curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
