Are you ready to take on a leadership role and drive the growth of Town Planning services in the South West or South Coast?
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Associate Director or Director to become the figurehead for Town Planning in Bristol or Southampton, playing a pivotal role in expanding their established multidiscipline presence in these regions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced planning professional with a strong client base, proven leadership skills, and the drive to lead the growth of the Town Planning function within the areas of Bristol or Southampton.
You will take ownership of the service offering in these regions and be instrumental in delivering high-quality planning services under the backing of a national consultancy.
You must be a self-starter and have the appetite to build something under their support and guidance!
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and develop the Town Planning function in the Bristol or Southampton office, becoming the key figurehead for the service in the region.
- Bring an existing client base, building and developing new business opportunities across the region.
- Build, lead, manage, and mentor a team of planners, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Provide expert planning consultancy services across a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- Manage large, complex projects and ensure delivery to the highest standards, meeting client objectives and deadlines.
- Work closely with the consultancy’s leadership team to implement strategies for growth and expansion in the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure long-term success.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as an Associate Director or Director within the Town Planning sector.
- An established client base with a strong track record of securing new business and delivering successful projects.
- Extensive knowledge of the UK planning system, policies, and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and growing a team, with excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
- A self-starter with a proactive, business-focused approach, eager to drive growth and success.
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship management skills.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering results and exceeding client expectations.
