PositionOverview
This is anexciting position because you will be based at the Reception butalso involved in the Food & Beverage department.
This is a zerohours part timecontract.
- Provideefficient service for guest registration and departure; maintainaccurate guest accounts and provide accurate helpfulinformation.
- Attend to all incomingcalls in a professional and polite manner constantly striving toprovide Total CustomerSatisfaction.
- Maintain strictsecurity procedures to ensure guest confidentiality andsafety
Duties
- Provide qualityservice to the customer by responding to their requests promptlyefficiently and courteously during checkin checkout and throughouttheir stay.
- Maintain control of guest and hotelaccounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on atimely basis.
- Maintain strict securityprocedures with credit and cash transactions accounting proceduresissue of room keys and guestconfidentiality / privacy
- Maintain communicationchannels between Hotel guests and all Hotel departments bothverbally and in writing asrequired.
- Handle all calls promptlyand professionally greeting all callers according to Accor policyand transfer all calls to relevant departments responding torequests quickly and efficiently.
- Use everyopportunity to promote hotel facilities and maximise sales throughsound product knowledge and sellingskills.
- Check ordered meals on collection fromkitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature andappearance ensure items are announced.
- Keeptables and service areas clean and tidy as per proceduremanual.
- Ensure room service trays and trolleysare setup correctly and collected promptly when guest(s) havefinished.
- Attend to other duties as requestedby Management andSupervisors
GeneralDuties
- Follow thestandards and performance outlined during training and in thedepartmental service procedures manual. Complete all tasks withinthe shift to these standards.
- Suggest anyimprovements that could be made to existing services orprocedures.
- Attend training programmes andmeetings as directed to constantly improve skills andknowledge.
- Follow the expectations andguidelines in the Accor EmployeeHandbook.
Qualifications :
You must beeligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position andbe in possession of a current workvisa.
This is a zerohours part timecontract.
- A selfstarterwho has the ability to work unsupervised who ideally has experienceon either a Hotel Reception and / or in a Hotel Food &Beverage; Department.
- Someone with apositive attitude and a genuine customer servicefocus.
- A fastthinking problem solverwith initiative that takes pride in creating and deliveringmemorable guest experiences.
- SuperbCommunication skills to interact with guests and other members ofthe team.
- Brilliant organisationskills.
