Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 Early Years)
Salary : From £23,800, depending on experience
Full-time - 40 hours across 4 days
Are you a passionate and qualified Nursery Practitioner with a Level 3 in Early Years? Join our client's dedicated team and help create a nurturing, stimulating environment for children to thrive!
The nursery has been specifically designed to provide the best care and learning experience for young children. The nursery is open-plan and bright, offering a secure and engaging space for children to explore.
With a custom-designed outdoor play area it ensures comfort, safety, and convenience at every step.
Requirements :
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential).
- Demonstrated expertise as a Nursery Practitioner within an early years establishment, with a proven track record of successfully supporting children's development and well-being
- Thorough grasp of child development and early years education principles, applying this knowledge to create engaging and educational experiences
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- A compassionate and patient approach to tending to and educating young children, adapting strategies and care plans to meet individual needs

Key Responsibilities :
- Establish and uphold a safe, hygienic, and inviting environment for young children, ensuring all equipment and facilities are clean, safe,
and age-appropriate
- Devise and execute a wide range of age-appropriate activities and experiences that foster learning and holistic growth, reflecting upon and adapting activities to meet individual children's needs and interests
- Provide attentive care and emotional support to promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of children, including offering comfort and reassurance during times of distress or upset
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and fellow staff, initiating regular discussions and providing detailed feedback on each child's progress, challenges, and achievements
- Monitor and evaluate children's advancements, documenting observations and collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the formulation of individualized learning plans, ensuring each child's development is appropriately supported
