Job Title : English and Maths GCSE Tutor

Job Duties :
- Deliver high-quality tutoring in English and Maths subjects to GCSE level students
- Create and implement individualised lesson plans based on students' needs
- Assess and track students' progress and provide feedback to both students and parents / guardians
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subjects
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and improve teaching techniques
Required Qualifications :
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Specialisation in English and Maths education
- Experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE level students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience :
Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in English and Maths subjects
Knowledge and Skills :
- Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment criteria
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning
Preferred Qualifications :
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds
Working Conditions :
- Work in learners homes
- Interacting with students, parents / guardians, and colleagues on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
