It is an exciting time to join the University of Manchester during our bicentenary year,
following the appointment of our new Executive Director of People, Eleanor Morrissey, and our President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Duncan Ivison as we create our ambitious new strategy, Manchester 2035!
We are seeking to recruit 4 new Directors within the People Directorate, one being the Director of People Services, to strengthen the leadership function within our Directorate and help deliver a People Strategy that enables us to achieve our strategic goals.
As the Director of People Services, you will lead the delivery of efficient, customer-centric people processes across all transactional activities, from payroll and global mobility to HR digital transformation.
You will ensure that best practices in customer excellence, data integrity, and continuous improvement are embedded within the team.
You will also strategically shape and direct the People Services team to ensure alignment with the University’s values and objectives.
