About the Role :
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Humanities lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of history,
critical thinking, and cultural understanding.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of historical events, concepts, and their significance in shaping the world.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, and beyond).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department and contribute to school-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Humanities or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Humanities and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
