TheRole of the Sports Presentation & AV Engineer

We are seeking an experiencedSports Presentation & AV Engineer to join our team havingtotal responsibility for our matchday Sports Presentationdeliverable and lead with inhouse AV support and delivery for theclubs conference & Events (C&E;) business outsidematchdays.

The individual will be requiredto :

- Operate the existing sportspresentation technology infrastructure specifically NewTek NDIDante vMix 3Play Blackmagic Design live production switchesDaktronics show control and RTS talkback solution systems.






- Assess the capability and fit for purposenature of these technologies and identify areas for immediateimprovement both for current requirements and also for futurebusiness needs.
- Audit our internal processesin running and operating matchday presentations including assessingthe capability of our thirdparty providers and our internalstaff.
- Review systems and practices andidentify some new trends and necessary upgrades and enhancementsrequired to enhance the sports presentation technology for the longterm.

This role requires strongtechnical expertise in AV systems a deep understanding of sportspresentation requirements and excellent project managementskills.

MainAccountabilities

- Operateour current sports presentation technology infrastructure whichincludes but is not limited to : NewTek NDI Dante (Sound)





vMix 3PlayBlackmagic Design live production switches Daktronics show controland RTS talkback solution systems.
- Evaluate andreview the performance functionality and suitability of theexisting technologies for our presentation needs whilst identifyingnew trends and capabilities.
- Continue to growthe relationship and explore other skills of our existing thirdparty matchday presentation providers and theirstaff.
- Review and improve the effectiveness ofour internal processes and peoples capabilities in delivering aconsistently high quality matchdaypresentation.
- Provide technical guidance andexpertise throughout the implementation process ensuring thetechnology meets the desired objectives.
- Trainrelevant staff members on the proper use and maintenance of theupgraded sports presentation technology and make sure that the3







party contractor is involved throughoutand support and maintenance (if required).

- Document processes and have a full O&Mfile; of systems including modifications made lessons learned andbest practices for future reference.
- Manage andsupport the technology and schedule equipment suppliers to provideplanned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all the stadium AVinfrastructure.
- Create a process drivenconsistent approach to AV support for the C&E; business on aroom per room basis allowing for overlay if needbe.
- In the short term operate manage andmaintain the AV in the Gtech whilst BFC review and assess whether a3

party AV support / maintenance company isrequired.







- Understand the requirements needed bythe C&E; team and assist with servicing / supporting the AVelement to the C&E; business.
- Advise andhelp shape the AV operating model for the mediumterm.
- Provide a serviced relationship betweenStadium Operations Catering andTechnology.
- Collaborate with event organisersand production teams to understand their AV requirements andtranslate them into technical specifications (if required) and beavailable for site visits for additional upsell of equipmenthire.
- If required Design and set up our inhouseAV systems including sound lighting video and other relatedequipment to meet the specific needs of eachevent.
- Install configure and troubleshoot AVequipment such as projectors sound systems microphones videoscreens and lighting fixtures.






- Conduct thoroughtesting and quality checks on AV systems before and after events toensure optimal performance andreliability.
- Operate and manage AV equipmentduring conferences events and other activities ensuring seamlessaudio and visual experiences forattendees.
- Coordinate with external vendors andcontractors for the provision of additional AV equipment (Overlay)or technical support as needed.
- Maintain aninventory of AV equipment including spares ensuring all items areproperly stored accounted for and maintained in good workingcondition.
- Provide technical support andassistance to event staff and presenters addressing any AVrelatedissues promptly and efficiently.
- Stay up todate with emerging AV technologies trends and best practices andrecommend improvements or upgrades to enhance the overall AVexperience at the stadium.
- Adhere to health andsafety regulations and protocols while operating and maintaining AVsystems.

PersonSpecification Essential PersonalCharacteristics

- Provendemonstrable experience as an AV Consultant or in a similar rolespecifically in reviewing and improving AV systems for sportspresentation.
- Indepth knowledge of NewTek NDIDante vMix 3Play and talkback radio mic systems including theirsetup configuration and integration in sportsenvironments.
- Strong project management skillswith the ability to prioritise tasks manage timelines and meetdeadlines.
- Excellent analytical andproblemsolving abilities with the capacity to identify areas ofimprovement and provide effectivesolutions.
- Familiarity with sports productionworkflows running orders requirements and bestpractices.
- Strong communication andinterpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders andeffectively convey technical information to nontechnicalaudiences.
- Accountability to plan implement anddeliver on the Sports Presentation and AV services at the GtechStadium.
- Ability to adapt to changingpriorities and work effectively in a fastpaced dynamicenvironment.
