Business Studies Teacher Secondary School in Southampton

Contract Type : Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Southampton. This role is perfect for someone passionate about teaching business concepts, economics, and entrepreneurship, with the ability to inspire students in Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
The Role
As a Business Studies Teacher, you will :
- Deliver engaging lessons on business theory, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship to a range of abilities.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Business Studies exams,
ensuring a deep understanding of the subject matter.
- Create and maintain a positive learning environment that encourages inquiry and critical thinking.
- Plan lessons and provide ongoing assessment to monitor student progress.
- Contribute to the wider school community by leading extra-curricular activities related to business or economics.

Requirements
- A recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
