Senior Occupational Therapist (Band 6)

Full-time - Permanent

Salary : Up to £41,500 dependent on experience

Please note that our client DOES NOT offer Tier 2 sponsorship

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our client's dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in physiotherapy, with a focus on neuro-rehab and acquired brain injury.

This role requires someone with a passion for providing high-quality patient care and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Experience in the UK at band 6 level or above






- HPCP (Health and Care Professions Council) registration
- Proven experience in neuro-rehabilitation and acquired brain injury is preferable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
- Strong organizational and time management abilities

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with a variety of neuro-rehabilitation and acquired brain injury needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and modalities to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being






- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support for patients and promote their independence in daily activities
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
- Contribute to the professional development of junior staff and participate in team meetings and case reviews
