The University of Manchester is seeking an innovative Director of Talent Development to lead and drive the strategic direction of our Talent Development Centre of Expertise.

It is an exciting time to join the University of Manchester during our bicentenary year, following the appointment of our new Executive Director of People, Eleanor Morrissey, and our President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Duncan Ivison as we create our ambitious new strategy, Manchester 2035!
We are seeking to recruit 4 new Directors within the People Directorate to strengthen the leadership function within our Directorate and help deliver a People Strategy that enables us to achieve our strategic goals.
As Director of Talent Development, you will lead the design and implementation of talent development strategies that align with the University’s vision and strategic goals.
Your role will ensure that our leaders are equipped to navigate the unique needs of both academic and professional services, fostering a unified One University’ mindset.
The University of Manchester will be leading the search directly and will not be engaging the services of any third-party agencies as part of the recruitment process.
