We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 8 to 12 years of expertise in equity swaps and financial derivatives, specifically in total return swaps (TRS), portfolio swaps, basket swaps, and synthetic prime businesses. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the regulatory environment (CFTC, SEC), experience in product implementation/integration, and a comprehensive knowledge of the trade lifecycle.
Location: Hybrid Required in office 2 to 3 days in a week in London
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements (BRD, SRS, Test Cases) and drive Agile development methodologies.
Provide detailed analysis and solutions for swap products, including TRS,
portfolio swaps, and basket swaps, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the implementation and integration of equity swaps platforms, such as Nuvo Prime.
Deliver thorough documentation and analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
Support end-to-end swap trading lifecycle, coordinating with Front Office, Middle Office, and Operations teams.
Conduct research and data analysis to predict trends and present findings to key stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong documentation skills: BRD, SRS, Test Cases.
In-depth knowledge of swap products: TRS, portfolio swaps, basket swaps, synthetic prime.
Experience with regulatory requirements (CFTC, SEC, etc.).
Expertise in product implementation and integration.
Detailed knowledge of the swaps trading lifecycle, including trade roles in the Front Office, Middle Office, and Operations.
Experience working with equity swaps platforms, such as Nuvo Prime (preferred).
Business Analyst Skills:
Strong analytical problem-solving skills for project-related issues.
Proven ability to conduct requirement gathering, analyses, and documentation.
Expertise in differentiating between strategic and tactical decisions.
Clear understanding of business goals and user needs.
Ability to provide recommendations on technical solutions and drive implementations.
Experience in resolving conflicts between user requirements and providing comprehensive business solutions.
Analytical and logical thinking to address business problems.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of business and finance-related concepts is desirable.
