Roles we are hiring for:
- Food & Beverage Assistant - 12 hour contract (National minimum wage plus anticipated £1.50 tronc per hour)
- Food & Beverage Assistant - 18 hour contract (National minimum wage plus anticipated £1.50 tronc per hour)
- Kitchen Porter - 12 hours (£11.60 plus anticipated £1.00 tronc per hour)
Please note:
- Applicants must be able to work Christmas Day and New Years Eve.
- All contracts are on a fixed term basis,
and you must be available to start on 4th November 2024 with the contract ending on 2nd January 2025 (inclusive).
- Earnings are paid weekly (inclusive of the anticipated tronc payment).
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES - FOOD & BEVERAGE ASSISTANT
- Working within the Bar, Grill & Events, provide table service, taking guest orders, and running trays of food and drinks to guest tables.
- Provide the highest levels of guest service, offering personalised drinks recommendations and making genuine conversation to get to know our guests.
- To have a comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage menu options to be able to offer guests recommendations, including understanding the allergens present.
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES - KITCHEN PORTER
- Wash all pots, pans, crockery, glassware, and cutlery throughout the day.
- Store and organize all clean items, ensuring the Chefs have all required equipment.
- Ensure the Back of House areas are clear from obstruction and maintain the bin store areas, ensuring they are clean and cleared daily.
- Follow health and safety procedures closely at all times particularly pertaining to the handling of waste and manual handling.

Our location,
Parklands Ave, Motherwell ML1 4WQ, is just off the M8 motorway in Maxim Business Park at the Eurocentral Junction, we are a 92-bedroom boutique hotel which boasts a destination Bar & Grill restaurant as well as a newly built wedding events space.
Our location is easily accessible by car and we offer complimentary parking for both employees and guests. Additionally, there are frequent buses using the CityLink 900 route, only 20 minutes from Buchanan St Bus Station directly to our hotel.
