Novotel London WestHotel is part of Accor, the leading global hospitality group. It is one of the largest conference and accommodation providers within Accor. The hotel provides the international business community with space for up to 3000 delegates across 33 meeting rooms. It accommodates both business and leisure guests in one of our 630 bedrooms.
As the Assistant Night Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of service and security during night shifts. You will assist the Night Manager in overseeing hotel operations, addressing guest concerns, and managing staff to maintain efficiency and safety throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Night Manager in overseeing all night shift operations, ensuring smooth transitions and exceptional service.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally and efficiently.
- Supervise and support night staff, including reception, housekeeping, and security teams.
- Conduct nightly audits, reconcile reports, and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and the property by managing security protocols.
- Respond to any emergencies, following established procedures.
- Oversee end-of-day operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting for the day.
- Collaborate with daytime managers to ensure seamless communication and operational consistency.
To ensure you will be successful in your role you will need to possess:
- At least 2 years experience in the hotel industry in a similar role.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken (and a 2nd language would be a plus).
- Excellent communication,
presentation and interpersonal skills - A strong team player.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example.
- Experience in the following systems desirable: Opera Cloud, ResaWeb, Hotelink.
- Capable of organizing time and work efficiently.
- Must be legally eligible to work in UK.
