Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Pastry Chef in leading the pastry team, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the pastry section, managing junior staff and ensuring smooth service.
- Collaborate on the creation of innovative and visually striking desserts that align with the hotel's premium standards.
- Uphold the highest levels of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Train and mentor junior chefs, encouraging growth and development within the team.
- Contribute to menu development, bringing fresh ideas and creativity to the dessert offerings.
- Ensure all products meet the luxury brand's exceptional standards for both presentation and taste.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a professional pastry kitchen, ideally within a luxury or premium environment.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing or supervising a team.
- Creativity and a passion for innovation in pastry, with excellent attention to detail in both taste and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintaining high standards at all times.
- A positive and collaborative attitude, with a passion for mentoring and supporting junior chefs.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
