Audit & Accounts Manager - Technology£69,000 - £78,000Join the specialist technology team of an established and quickly growing top 10 firm in Central London. The firm works with a wide range of businesses from individuals and start-ups to large international groups and household names. The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio starting at £500,000 in value, consisting of clients in Tech, FinTech, and the Financial Services sectors.
Moreover, the firm put a big emphasis on the importance of personal career development, assigning you a Partner mentor to help you reach all progression opportunities available at all times. Lastly, you’ll be getting involved in business development activities,
actively promoting and marketing the firm and its services, looking to attract new clients and develop relationships with existing clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an Audit Manager with experience in the Technology sector to join an established top 10 firm and further their career.
Responsibilities:Lead audit engagements, being responsible for all aspects of audit & accounts, including: job planning, budgeting, time management, supervision and monitoring of team progress, reviewal of corporation tax computations, and finalisation of files for Partner review. Day to day contact with the clients, HMRC, and other professional advisors. Oversee and mentor trainees during their training contracts, assisting in motivating them and providing feedback.
Attend client gatherings and seminars on an ad-hoc basis. Identify account development opportunities with clients and progressing them in liaison with the Partners. Assist with the preparation and presentation of new client pitches.
Provide innovative ideas to improve systems currently in practice with regards to clients or staff matters. Requirements:ACA or ACCA qualified (or other relevant qualification) Experience working with a portfolio that has a minimum of 40% audit work. Experience managing both people and a portfolio.
Experience of auditing Tech and FinTech businesses is hugely advantageous. Expertise in delivery of the primary accounting frameworks (UK GAAP, FRS101, FRS102, and IFRS). Commercially aware and able to apply and communicate technical knowledge in a clear and commercial way.
