Chemical Inventory Auditor - Remote

We are currently seeking an exceptional customer service professional to join us as Chemical Inventory Auditor.
As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry Customers are at the heart of our business.
The Chemical Inventory Auditor position requiring travel to various customer locations including hospitals and medical clinics. The Chemical Inventory Auditor will travel to customer locations and follow a set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform complete and accurate chemical inventory of hazardous materials. At the end of each day,
this data will be provided in the appropriate format to the Chemical Inventory Team Leader. The data compiled from this inventory will be used to produce a Safety Data Sheet (SDS)/Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) database.

About You
- Conduct inventory on approximately 400 chemicals on a daily basis
- Take clear and accurate photographs of all required data fields for materials
- Maintain accurate and complete data collection of chemicals inventoried
- Take appropriate care and precautions when transporting/using inventory equipment
- Maintain professional demeanor and communicate effectively with on-site customer representatives
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED is required, Some college or technical training school preferred
EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years previous experience working in a field that requires handling of hazardous materials required
- Previous audit/inventory experience strongly preferred
- Experience in healthcare (hospitals/clinics), lab environment, manufacturing or chemical production industry is a definite plus
Basic knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards and regulations regarding hazardous materials, required
