Who You Are
You are an experienced Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of qualified experience, ideally at a Band 6 level or equivalent. You excel in case work and physical rehabilitation within a busy environment. Based in London, you are comfortable with both remote work and making risk-assessed home visits, while also being office-based two days a week. You are not a newly qualified therapist or at Band 5 level, but someone who can contribute to a strong and supportive team with excellent clinical support.
What the Job Involves
This role places you in an integrated Reablement Service within adult social care, focusing on service users in the community over a six-week rehabilitation program.
Your work will be supported by in-house reablement officers (ROs), who deliver reabling care under your direction, aiming to prevent, reduce, or delay the development of long-term care needs. The position offers a varied caseload that includes a mix of hospital discharges and community referrals. The role requires working flexibly Monday to Friday, with some remote working opportunities.
