We at KPI Education are partnering with a high-achieving secondary school in Croydon, searching for a dynamic and motivated Graduate English Academic Mentor to join their team this September.

Graduate English Academic Mentor Person Specification

- Graduate English Academic Mentor role






- Must hold a 2 : 1 or higher in English Literature, English Language, Linguistics, Creative Writing, Comparative Literature, or American Literature
- Relevant experience is welcome but not essential enthusiasm and a love for English are key!

Graduate English Academic Mentor Job Role

- Lead engaging small group and 1 : 1 intervention sessions with GCSE and A-Level students
- Work alongside the class teacher in general classroom support
- Inspire a genuine passion for English, supporting learners of all abilities to achieve their potential
- Develop creative and accessible resources to make challenging concepts more approachable
- Work closely with experienced teachers, gaining invaluable mentorship and insight
- Explore potential pathways into teaching, with opportunities to start teacher training from September 2025
- Benefit from a full-time position (Monday-Friday, 8 : 30am-3 : 30pm), with a competitive weekly salary of £500-£560
