You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced training Consultants and participate in regular supervision meetings.

Main duties of the job
Join our dynamic medical team as a Clinical Duties Post Holder!
As a "SHO" level doctor, you will work closely with junior doctors, Physicians Associates, and specialist nursing practitioners.
You can even choose your preferred clinical team and decide to switch every 4 months or stay with the same team for a year.
We are looking for someone who is confident in assessing and managing cases at our Trust, especially in cardiac arrest teams.
You will play a key role in guiding medical students and junior doctors with your clinical expertise,
communication skills, initiative, and leadership qualities.
Participate in departmental audits and educational audits to enhance your skills and knowledge.
In Chichester, our acute medical, medicine for the elderly, and rheumatology services are fully integrated, providing a diverse and challenging work environment.
Worthing offers separate medicine and elderly medicine full shift rota patterns.
As a CT1-2, you will supervise FY1 doctors and manage acute medical admissions and in-patient care.

Experience / Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Basic medical degree
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- Advanced Life Support Certificate from the Resuscitation Council UK or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- MRCP (UK) Part 1
- Not previously relinquished, released or removed from a training programme except under exceptional circumstances
Clinical Skills and Experience
Essential criteria
- Completion of F1 / F2 competences or equivalent
- Current or previous employment in a UKFPO-affiliated foundation programme or 12 months’ experience after full GMC registration and evidence of achievement of foundation competencies
- Have 4 - 12 months’ experience in medical specialties as defined by the JRCPTB by time of interview
- CatheterisationEvidence of having undertaken own development to improve understanding of equalities issues
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working within and understanding the NHS environment
- Some IMT CT2 competences
Organisation and Planning
Essential criteria
- Experience and ability to work in multi-professional teams
- Understanding of : NHS / Clinical governance / Resource constraints
