In this leadership role, you'll be the captain of a dynamic language learning voyage :
- Chart the Course :
Develop a clear vision and strategic direction for the MFL program, ensuring it's engaging, stimulating, and aligns with national standards.
- Empower Your Crew : Motivate and guide your dedicated team of MFL teachers, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Embrace Innovation : Stay at the forefront of MFL education by implementing innovative teaching methods and resources to keep the curriculum dynamic and effective.
- Spark a Global Spark : Play a key role in developing engaging language learning programs that ignite a passion for languages in students and cultivate a global perspective.
- Navigate to Success : Oversee assessment and data analysis, utilizing results to continuously improve the MFL program's effectiveness.
Are you the language leader we seek?
- A strong academic background in a Modern Foreign Language and a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are essential.
- Extensive successful teaching experience at the secondary level,
with proven leadership qualities in a school setting (preferably as a Head of Department) is a must.
- You possess a demonstrable passion for languages and a commitment to fostering a love of language learning in students.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team are key.
- A strategic mind with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement rounds out the perfect candidate.
