Cover Supervisor- Liverpool Secondary Schools
Are you a recent graduate looking to pursue a career in the education sector?
Are you looking to make some money following your university studies as well as support a possible future PGCE application?
We are working with several secondary schools in the St Helen’s area, Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a variety of Cover Supervisors to register for work as schools get busier with day-to-day cover requests.
These temporary positions are within several schools we work with. The cover supervisors will benefit from gaining valuable experience at supporting in these schools as well as competitive pay whilst working in these supportive environments.
The role requires the successful candidate to be confident and adaptable in their approach. Previous experience (in a voluntary capacity or otherwise) working with students, perhaps in a secondary school or youth work setting is a must with the prospective cover supervisors motivated and able to converse, liaise and engage with young people of between 11 16.
Highlights of the cover supervisor role :

The role of a cover supervisor is to deliver pre-set work in the absence of the classroom teacher. The role commands a certain level of flexibility as you may be delivering and supervising classes varying in size, ability, and age.
The successful Cover Supervisor could be covering a range of subjects giving you amazing experience for a future as a teacher.
The schools we are recruiting for are situated across the Merseyside area making it very easy to access from the nearby areas.
The cities transport links make each school very accessible, and each school will have onsite parking for those that drive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
