If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team at a Secondary School & Sixth Form in Hackney as a Teacher of Business Studies & Economics.
As a Teacher of Business Studies & Economics, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
You will have the opportunity to shape the future of young minds, fostering a love for learning and a deep understanding of the business and economic world.
Business Studies & Economics Teacher Responsibilities :
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies & Economics to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that inspire and engage students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to support their academic growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
- Organise and supervise extracurricular activities and educational trips related to Business Studies & Economics
Business Studies & Economics Teacher Requirements :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field
- Experience teaching Business Studies & Economics at the secondary school level
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subjects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
