Job Description :
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love of learning in our students.
You will play a key role in supporting the academic and personal development of each child, working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan,
prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the ethos and values of a Church of England school.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love of learning.
- Effective classroom management skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school,
including extracurricular activities and events.
