We are pleased to present an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and inspiring Girls PE Teacher to join a prestigious secondary school in Sutton, starting in September.
This full-time, permanent role is perfect for an individual who possesses a deep-rooted passion for physical education and a commitment to nurturing young women's athletic potential.
About the Role :
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging PE curriculum to girls across all key stages.
This includes planning and executing stimulating lessons, coaching sports teams, organizing tournaments, and fostering a positive and inclusive sporting environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver innovative PE lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities and interests.
- Inspire and motivate students to participate actively in sports and physical activities.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular sporting events.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching PE at the secondary school level
- Strong subject knowledge and expertise in a variety of sports and physical activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire young people
