Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student participation
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Monitor and manage student behaviour, maintaining a respectful and inclusive classroom
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in the field of Science education and incorporate relevant changes into lesson plans
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status and a relevant degree in Science education
- Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
- Organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons
