Salary : Grade N. Scale 56 - £76,901 to Scale 59 - £85,369

Hours Per Week : 36

Base Location : Tameside One, Market Place, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL6 6BH

The Role

We are looking for a Head of MASH / Duty and Assessment who will provide strategic leadership for a range of statutory children’s social care services, ensuring that safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is paramount.

The role holder will ensure the effective operation and management of teams and systems, providing a safe, timely and effective multi-agency response to ensure the protection and well-being of children.

The successful candidate will have the energy,





confidence and passion to drive high expectations and an ability to bring partners and colleagues on our improvement journey.

You will join a newly formed permanent Children’s senior leadership team, bringing stability to the committed social care workforce.

Through your leadership, you will drive forward the improvement plan setting out a bright future for children and young people.
