Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum guidelines
- Use a variety of teaching techniques to cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to promote their achievement
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance and assessment data
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to discuss student progress and address any concerns
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Maths education
- Proven experience teaching Maths in a primary or secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to effectively impart this knowledge to students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons
