The Department
Established over 10 years' ago, the transactional insurance sector team has gone from strength to strength and is now widely regarded as one of the City's leading legal practices in this highly dynamic sector.
The department is headed up by an industry leading individual who is recognised in all of the major legal directories for transactional work and sector knowledge.
The Role
This is a stand out opportunity for a Corporate Insurance Associate to join this City of London Top 40 firm.
Within this role you will be working on on mergers and acquisitions (public and private), corporate finance , reinsurance and banking transactions, joint ventures and investments.
Many of the team's deals involve private equity and range in size. They advise financial sponsors and management teams and have expert tax structuring capability.
Some of the types of clients that you will be working with include; leading insurers, reinsurers, MGAs, brokers, capital providers, private equity funds, management teams, Insurtechs and trade bodies.
The Ideal Candidate :
- You will have 1-5 years PQE
- Solid experience in transaction insurance work
- Enthusiasm for intellectually challenging matters.
- Excellent client relationship skills and experience in business development.
