Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to students according to the national curriculum standards.
- Assess students' language proficiency and track their progress over time.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student's academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behavior.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) in Spanish or a relevant subject area.
- Experience teaching Spanish at the primary or secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Innovative and flexible approach to teaching, incorporating technology when appropriate.
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning in the field of Spanish language education.
