Overview

FM is a leading commercial insurance company that provides risk management and loss prevention services through a unique combination of engineering, underwriting and claims.

We work to ensure business continuity and safeguard our clients’ properties with seamless, worldwide coverage and property loss prevention engineering solutions.

We currently have an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Associate to join our Insurance Accounts team based in Maidenhead.

This role is required to work a minimum of 4 days in the office with the flexibility to work either a Tuesday or Friday from home.

Responsibilities

- Accurately process insurance accounting transactions,





including incoming receipts for premiums and loss recoveries, as well as outgoing payments for claims and reinsurance
- Running paycycles
- Maintaining and updating the vendor database
- Dealing with internal and external queries
- Uploading documents to OnBase
- Processing journals
- Performing various monthly and quarterly reconciliations
- Ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications

- Proven accounting experience (ideally within a multinational environment)
- Good working knowledge of both accounts receivable and account payable modules
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure that deadlines are consistently met
- A proactive and diligent approach to all tasks with a keen eye for detail
- Work collaboratively within the finance function and across the organisation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people of all levels
- Reliable and flexible, able to work as part of team but also deliver on own objectives
- Excellent PC skills and good knowledge of Excel






- Experience of PeopleSoft Financials is an advantage
- Experience of working for an insurance company desirable but not essential
